Grilled Asparagus with Lemon

Ingredients
1 pound asparagus trimmed of woody ends
1 lemon (zest first and cut in half)
Drizzle of olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Step 1.
In a large zip bag or plate, place asparagus spears and drizzle with olive oil, and salt and pepper. Shake bag or toss asparagus with tongs to coat evenly
Step 2.
Prepare a hot grill before placing asparagus by drizzling olive oil on a paper towel and using a pair of long tongs, spread the oil across the grill grates. Dispose of paper towel.
Step 3.
Place asparagus on grill and close lid, letting asparagus cook for 3 minutes on one side.
Step 4.
Open the grill, flip the asparagus, and cook for another 3 minutes or until the asparagus is slightly charred and crisp-tender. Transfer asparagus to a serving platter, sprinkle with lemon zest, and squeeze with lemon juice to taste. Serve immediately.
